Not EVERY black family has a story like this but I understand what this author is trying to say. There are a lot of people that have had experiences and they'd like to blame Jacko's actions on someone else. Such people know deep down inside that Jacko is the only one at fault here.

I agree. The author was simply trying to explain why many black people are giving Wacko Jacko a pass on this.
