I have a worse story than this. About 25 or 30 years ago my husbands uncle died in Cozumel while on a fishing trip. His body was thrown (not laid out) into a cooler. The Mexican officials would not release his body until every official in Cozumel (and probably the entire state) had been paid off. His body was so twisted he would not fit into a normal casket to be returned home. Nice guys those Mexicans.
