Evidently Bush and Rove got an earful on 1/29 when they met with Republican congressmen. The article I read said many of them really unloaded on Rove about the amnesty thing. Bush reportedly said he wasn't doing it for votes but because he thought it was good for the US.

Hopefully the WH is figuring out this thing isn't wildly popular not matter what El Presidente Vincente thinks.

You judge a whole people by their soccer fans, also. Why don't you declare war on the English since they have the most violent soccer fans in the world, but thank you for posting on this thread. The hyperbolic and xenophobic remarks shown all because of a soccer game shows your racism shining through and go to your own political party, you aren't welcomed in mine.

MR. Fox wasn't even happy with it, Pres. Bush offers to give away the Bank and El Presidente tells him it's not enough. Well El Presidente needs to keep his people in his country and out of ours.

Bush reportedly said he wasn't doing it for votes but because he thought it was good for the US. Maybe he should ask those of us in the U.S. who vote for him ..what we want...and that our votes aren't necessarily in the bag....
