And that was in a game against Canada on Thursday before just 1,500 people.
A game Tuesday in neighboring Guadalajara will determine whether the U.S. under-23 soccer team heads to the Athens Games.
"This is what it is all about," coach Glenn Myernick said. "You are 90 minutes away from being in the Olympics."

This sickens me to no end. These people have no class Neither do the English soccer hooligans, and I guess you stereotype all the English as having no class.

At about the 80th minute of that game, Sam's Army started chanting "Adios Amigos!" (rhythmic drum beats) "Adios Amigos!" (rhythmic drum beats) ...
It was pretty funny and I'm sure that didn't help their mood.

They are cheering the cheers that Americans won't.
(Okay, so I know they were in Mexico, but I couldn't resist!)

Votes. But it's a tad short-sighted.

Don't worry, any that cross the border will be immediately returned and/or punished for breaking our laws.
I almost said that with a straight face.
To: Puppage
Oh, they have class.....unfortunately, it's all low I guess you also would classify all English as low, due to the behavior of the English soccer hooligans.

Um, the Mexicans won that battle!
To: Chewbacca
Maybe "San Jacinto" would be a better cheer than "Alamo".

It's funny that the U.S. and Mexico started out on a level playing field. Now we are the Richest, most powerful nation on Earth and look what happened to Mexico. There people are fleeing the country in droves because it is so corrupt and broke.

I understand what you're saying but he better be worrying about the vote's he got the 1st time, you know the Conservatives that have backed him since day 1. I don't have anything against immigrants if they come here legally, but if they don't send them back!

What do you mean shaping up to be, WE have been enemies since the 1800's but haven't fought any real battles since the early 1900's, of course there have been a few incursions across borders since then.

Mexico is fast shaping up to be Americas enemy In Laz's hyperbolic mind, IMO.
BTW, why the silence on the true violent soccer fans of the world, the English soccer hooligans.
I guess you judge people by the behavior of their soccer fans. I don't.
