According to a new poll, only 15 per cent of us would vote for the President

Yep - if Bush were running for President of Canada he'd probably not win. I'll go out on a limb here and suggest he's not losing a lot of sleep over it.

I lived in Toronto for 6 months and it is a liberal city but almost every Canadian i've met and still keep in contact with love the US can't stand their leftist government and are embarrassed by their lack of military.

I can't wait until the jellied-bellied speedo wearing Cannucks arrive for their vacations, with their jiggly wives.
I can treat them just like the French treat Americans in Paris!

does canada have any relevance?
http://www.unitednorthamerica.org They have not sustainable military presence.
Their borders are more porous than ours.
They major industries are a subsidiary of USA, Inc.
They governance is based from the stronghold of weakness.
(even the much vaunted 1979 help to the escape of US citizens in Iran was a sham. History channel did a story on what really happened and why canadians were really given the credit.)

... Moulson swilling?Molson maybe? You can say what you want about Canucks but they do make great beer. Alcohol content usually around 6% (or higher), beats the crap out of the 3.2, OK 4%, swizzle that passes for beer down here ... Bud Lite anyone? How about a real beer like a Molson or Labatt Blue ... eh?

My wife deals with Canadians every day at work. According to her description, they are like Euroweenies - smugly superior about being more secular and "progressive" than we religious troglodytes. Too bad the invasion during the War of 1812 failed; there is some nice real estate up there that could probably have been de-Frogged by now.

Now, with the U.S. showing a willingness to stand alone and demand the obeisance due to the last remaining superpower, Canada, like the rest of the world, is caught up in an uncomfortable new reality. That's Canada's "perception" and its wrong. The US would like allies, good ones, but we seem to be alone in the defense of Israel and the war on terror. The Canucks hate Bush and the US because they are truly feeling their own weakness and lack of purpose. Their own impotence to have sway on the world stage. Canada is not a country, it is only a "Province".

Count me as a Canadian who'd vote for Bush in a nanosecond. Anti-American Canadians are like a neighbor who whines and bitches about the poor job you did shovelling his driveway.

"""According to a new poll, only 15 per cent of us would vote for the President"""
According to the Constitution of the United States, 0% of Canadians will vote in the U.S. elections.
We welcome the 15% that would like to vote for Bush. Come on Down. We will trade all the Canadians that will vote for Bush in exchange for all the Americans that will not vote for Bush, (including the dead voting Democrats buried round about Chicago). Sounds like a fair exchange to me.
I would be anxious in seeing the results of the above exchange in four years.
Blessings, Bobo

Tell your wife it's all an act in front of Americans as a sad attempt to feel superior. I lived in BC for a time and I found it sadly amusing.

On behalf of America I would like to personally thank the 15% of Canadians who display the courage of there their forefathers who bravely fought through two world wars at Americas side and are currently with us Afghanistan.
Its not to late to take your country back, we know, we lived through the dark shadow of the Carter years when all seemed lost and hopelessness seized our very soles. All it takes is one great leader and Canada will return to its rightful place in history.
I know there are bunches of Canadian Freepers out there and you know these negative posts are not directed at you.

"(including the dead voting Democrats buried round about Chicago)" Those dead voting Democrats probably do more for the economy and defending freedom than do the living ones.
