We just have to refuse to allow this stuff into the home. Thats a start. It's also important not to avoid the responsibility of talking to and teaching your kids (any any of their friends who you have their ear) how you feel and think on the subject matter. Being a lazy parent is why so many kids are allowed to emulate what they see on TV and hear on the radio.

No kidding. My 20 years old daughter hit me with "Get over it" and launched a few well-reasoned sentences to clear things up. Yet that's how hardened she--and most of the world--have become. The slippery slope effect.
