, but shouldn't a saltwater line be bubbling up with used saltwater and not oil? What's the oil from and where exactly is it being disposed?

The salt water is coming for a seperation unit use to seperate the oil from the salt water when the crude is extracted from the earth. The salt water is then pumped back into a salt water disposal well, sometimes an old abandoned well that has quit producing.... Apparently there was a malfunction at the seperation unit and oil was included in the salt water line.... just guessing on the malfunction part...
