First, don't turn off the radio... you enjoy it, there's little enough joy in life. You'll be letting this idiot win if you keep it off. Abusive customers have NO place in a business--whether they're complaining about your politics, the color of the paint, or the weather. That's one of the worst employee mistreatment stories I've read and it's important to not to let this guy win!
Second, no offense, but the line about reporting you to the NAACP was hilarious. You should've written your name (pick one from
here) and then have the satisification of imagining him reporting your "name" to the NAACP over the phone.
Third, like many posters I admire your comments. You are obviously a strong woman, independent thinker, and you're willing to withstand FR despite the fact it has, uhhh, a bunch of cavemen where race and gender are concerned (you know who I'm talking about).
Fourth, treat yourself tonight... bubble bath, takeout, movie, whatever. You need it. ;)
