You know, I'm not a particular fan of Rush, but it always amazes me when people go off on him for being "hate filled" and such. It's part of his schtick, being unfailingly polite, especially to callers who disagree with him. I have to assume those people have never actually listened to the program.

This works even if you are not Rush. I've done it. Liberals HATE it when you are polite during a rant - it's like holding up a mirror in front of them.

I mean the sort of polite that is so polite that they really know you are condescending - this drives liberals str-crazy.
