OK, I assume "oreo" is supposed to be an insult meaning that you are black on the outside but white on the inside -- they insulting part being that you supposedly have "white" characterizer's, which by implication, is a terrible, disgusting thing.

Yes I suppose it makes them feel better to call me an oreo, yellow bitch, white nigger,etc. and demand to know what my race is, or whatever. When I tell them only thing my parents ever said that I was is a HUMAN BEING that gets too many people angry. I do have a ethnic heritage that is very old and made me what i am today and it's my mother who isn't white who taught it to me. So for what it's worth, I've never felt that having white heritage was an awful thing. It never mattered to me till a LIBERAL told me it should.

Another thing is that I never learned American history and culture from any particular bias. I helped my mother study for her citizenship test. My father came here really young and got really americanized. When he went to visit my mother in her country all the people thought he was John Wayne! I have American culture distilled down to very basic principles as taught to me by example from two of the most honorable people to walk the face of the earth.
