Hang in there. There's nothing you could do about it.
My dad, who is white, was a District Chief for the Chicago Fire Department. One day a couple came in and started calling my dad a racist and swearing at him.
A few days earlier, their house had started on fire. In their panic, they had run out of the house and left their children to die.
All my dad could do was introduce them to the Captain, who was black, who had answered the alarm. The couple said the same, exact things to him.
If their children hadn't died, it would've been funny.

how sad...I'm sure they regret being so stupid and petty now. I still have to learn to take people/life less seriously.
