I do not always agree with Rush or Sean Hannity. Sometimes I listen to Bill O Reilly even. I really do think the liberals are jealous. Look at the violence their speech inspires. Liberal talk inspires failure, inspires welfare, inspires people to be racists and hatemongers. Rush Limbaugh inspires people to greatness and to be successful and all some small minded people can do issue cheap,tawdry threats and carry down people. It's the same thing with Free Republic and how those DU trolls are forever trying to carry down this site. Thank you for tolerating my rant. I'm just a bit depressed right now because I came to work in a good mood and this a$$hole had to get in my face.

Fight the good fight. When I heard this hub-bub about a liberal talk show, I had to laugh. The liberals are about 10 years behind the times! Rush came into being because we (conservatives, libertarians, republicans, etc.) were shut out of the mainstream media. Now the Libs want to open a radio talk show to "counter" Rush, et al. It will not work.

The liberals are indeed jealous. It is the epidemy of the left - institutionalized covetness! Covetness is the gateway sin (like pot is the gateway drug). It opens the door for all the other sins - theft, murder, adultery,-you get the picture.

If it is any further comfort. The left is destroying itself by its own consuming jealousy.

Reverse story. Several years ago I called a company in Utah I was having some dealings with. Was expecting to be put on hold and I was but instead of the dumb elevator music they had on Rush. When I finally talked to a real person I mentioned it. She had a wary tone in her voice and said they always listened to him. Had a good laugh after I told her I love Rush.

Local auto parts store has him on also. Mentioned it to the clerk and he grumbled he wasn't the boss and had no choice about it.

I'll never understand why some ethnic groups refer to their successful, non-Liberal members as "sellouts" or food items that are one color on the outside, but white on the inside (oreos, white bread, coconuts).

The whole phenomenon is an anathema to the core of American principles and values. We are endowed by our Creator not only with inalienable rights, but also with talents, insights and abilities that we have a responsibility to put to the best use!
