Pro Military News!
The NFL donated 400 game tickets to service members, and 21 NFL players were scheduled to make visits to troops to recognize their contributions and express appreciation.
Private Mail to be added to or removed from the GNFI (or Pro-Coalition) ping list.

This (and more) is what the SOBs at the Super Bowl should have used for a halftime show.

Now THIS is a game I will watch. Football the way it used to be/should be. No P.diddy, no (fill in the blank) Jackson. Good, clean fun, and lots of military talent, to boot. Huzzah!!

I sent an e-mail to the NFL encouraging them to do half-times like this. I would guess a bunch of other people did, too.

I went to 2 Pro-Bowls, '92 & '95 while stationed in Hawaii, walked to stadium, got drunk, babe-watched...I think there was football game in there somewhere...

Heck, everyday was a good beach day when I lived there!

Sounds familiar...

My understanding is that the halftime entertainment for the next Super Bowl, to be held in my hometown of Jacksonville, will also have a military theme. This makes sense, because the area is very pro-military, has three Navy bases (counting Kings Bay just north over the Georgia state line). Also, the Blue Angels, the Navy's exhibit flying team, was born in Jacksonville, though they're now based in Pensacola.

This is wonderful news. I hope they stay with programs like this.

This (and more) is what the SOBs at the Super Bowl should have used for a halftime show.It sounds like they don't want another "America's Cup."
