This is what I read...and my reaction was based on the fact that the guy was already known as a career criminal.

My oldest daughter had 2 unpaid traffic violations...and an arrest warrant was issued. Had she not paid her tickets and court costs, she would have been arrested for running a red light and speeding (from 2 separate events). She paid her well-deserved penalty. This guy was a career criminal..I don't see why he should have been treated lightely. ??

Kim, Due to the video the only person who is going to defend this cretin is his lawyer ....thinking back to Westerfield.

If not for that video this guy would be back out looking for another victim before carlie is even buried according to all the chances he has been given.

Because he's a con. He has that charming personality to make a courtroom believe he was only being a good samaritan by helping a young woman from getting run over. He sweet talked his way out of a jail sentence how many times? More and more it's becoming apparent how his mind works. Scary.
