The original photo shows Kerry before congress in 1971. This photoshopped has him before a Viet Cong communist flag. It's symbolic of Kerry changing sides after he left Vietnam after a very short, 4 month tour.

Thank you. I understand the symbolism perfectly but wasn't sharp enough to notice that it was a symbolic/photoshopped picture and not an actual depiction.
