My objection to this is not that the Representatives voiced their constituents' concerns to Rove and Bolten; my objection is that Tancredo and others just couldn't wait to run to the Washington Times and tell their side of what happened.

It is the same objection I have to the vituperative attacks on Bush's policy on this forum; large-scale disagreements should not be aired in public, because it gives the Rats ammo.

Tancredo's running to the press with the story of this retreat gives the Rats an idea for a wedge issue which will cause us trouble. Tancredo also, in my opinion, is trying real hard to make himself look more important than he is.
