employers use the current depressed job market to treat employees disrespectfully and make demands that are at best unscroupulous and demeaning. They offer jobs at the lowest possible wage, strip benefits to barebones, if offered at all

Actually I am speaking about any number of employer groups: attorneys, doctors, dentists, airlines, financial institutions, brokerage firms, whatever is left of our manufacturing in the USA, on and on. The people who drive $50-$70,000 SUVs don't have a clue their workers have to scrimp to afford gasoline round trip to work. They are not the ones living on ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese. These tyrants get bonuses for reducing employees, employee wages and benefits. It isn't only the CEO's named in the news, it's all around us everywhere. Corporate America's version of terrorism: creatinig the fear of losing your job - happening now - every city.
