Since I have both birds (macaw and mealy amazon) and cats (sphynx and pixie bob) I will be hoping the bird flu never crosses the Mississippi. I keep them all indoors, so hopefully that will keep them safe. I feel for all the people in this country who have poultry though, it has got to be somewhat frightening for them because of their investment in their birds.

I agree. It is just one more industry to be hit hard. Times are tuff. It may also be a good time to become a vegetarian.
