There are messages on the Arabic forums saying he was sprung from the Fallujah prison but I would be shocked if Saddam was being held in Fallujah.
I attribute these postings to a move by Al Qaeda and Al Ansar to try and stir up fear and trouble within Iraq. If the Iraqis think Saddam is free then they are not going to be happy campers.
Notice this morning that the US announced that the Red Cross will be visiting Saddam shortly. I imagine this is being done to dispel these rumors.
