Thanks. Sometimes I read that sad stuff in bite sized chunks so it's easier on my system.

Sigh.

Loftus on now: claiming the source of the technology for the Pakistan nuclear program was China. The Islamic states promised China access to oil for the bomb.

WMD Breakthrough
Post-Iraq, the world's proliferators are on the run.

But the important point now is whether Mr. Musharraf cooperates with the U.S. in the future. The Pakistan President risked upsetting nationalists even by putting Mr. Khan under house arrest and making him confess on national TV. If he now lets U.S. officials debrief the scientist and track down his network, the intelligence windfall will count for much more than any punishment for Mr. Khan.

All of this anti-WMD progress contrasts dramatically with what took place during the late 1990s, when the U.S. was supposedly just as worried about nuclear proliferation. We now know that those were the years when Mr. Khan spread his nuclear wares, when Gadhafi gathered his centrifuges, when Iraq kicked out U.N. inspectors and Iran deceived the world, and when North Korea was preparing to enrich uranium even while it negotiated new "disarmament" deals with the Clinton Administration. One obvious conclusion is that none of these proliferators believed the U.S. or U.N. were serious about confronting them. And at the time they were right.

All of that changed with the Bush policy of challenging terrorists and the states that support them after 9/11. With the fall of the Taliban and Saddam, the world's dictators have learned that protecting terrorists or pursuing WMD can interfere with lifetime tenure. So they are deciding to turn state's evidence, against themselves and others. Or to put it in terms even Washington may understand: The Bush strategy is working.

AN INTERESTING QUESTION.

Russia, for my money is deeply, fiercely, intensely tyrannical, brutal etc with a kind of demonic dark core about it for some reason. The Tzar was bad enough. The goons since have been worse.

And, there's a huge paranoia intensified by Hitler et al.

And, there's a deeply vigorous hostility to God entrenched there--though with some light showing through amazingly in many places in recent years.

North Korea, to me, has a lot of the same stuff plus an Asian fierce arrogance, pride, defensiveness, defiance etc.

China's a mixed bag. There's more authentic Christians there than in the USA. To SOME degree, LOTS of Chinese would just as soon leave the rest of the world alone if the world would leave China alone. Alas, many rulers are arrogant, acquisitive, power hungry, greedy, etc. who see themselves as bringing about a world centered on China, ruled directly or indirectly by China for a thousand years.

MOST of the people from Mainland China that I talk to poohpooh the idea that Mainland China will even invade Taiwan. I think they are blinded somehow. But, it's an interesting fact. I think too many rulers in China have too much of the Shrillery affliction--POWER MONGERING, GREED, TYRANNICAL. But hundreds of millions of other Chinese are above a lot of Americans in charitability, kindness, compassion, generosity, patience, sacrificial helpfulness etc. It will be interesting to see which values bent has how much of an upper hand how long.

This is a very strong point of Bush. He is doing a good job with tracking these people down and getting rid of them. My only gripe in this regard is any provision of the the patriot act which trumps the constituion or the bill of right in regards to American citizens. But other than that he is doing good on the war on terror. Now as for spending, Imigration, and Socialism I have to give him an F. He does get a good grade on Abortion, but I would hope he would have the guts to go after the activist judges. I would publicaly demoralise them to end of my days if I were him.

I don't think I will be watching those anytime soon. They down load at about 1k. Each one would take at least and hour and a half to get. But maybe it will faster when fewer people are downloading it. So thanks for the links.

But I don't think the puppet masters will allow all to show all their cards--certainly the puppet masters will not show THEIR cards.
