I miss him too. Three imposters since.
As Rush said in his book: It won't be known as Reagan/Bush era, it will be REAGAN, Bush/Clinton era.

I've told my kids that our whole family will drop everything to attend the RR state funeral. I'm assuming it will be a DC event. Does anyone have any information on the contingency plans to honor RR? Talk about the ultimate Freep! We'll be there!

1937 Eventual United States President Ronald Reagan receives his commission as a second lieutenant on 18 June 1937 where he learned to ride horses with the 14th Cavalry. We shared something very special at Fort Des Moines and I think we were lucky that the horses knew what they were doing! 5 May 1983. The 14th Cavalry leaves Fort Des Moines for Mexican border in 1940.

I don't know what the plans are and I hate to speculate. I do wish his a release from the prison that Alzheimer's has him in. I don't know if he is eligable for Arlington.
Anyone else know? I do know I will cry my eyes out at his passing and funeral procession.

Mr. President,
Thank you so much for your leadership during my formative years. You demonstrated the conservative principles my father and mother instilled in me from birth, and that gave me hope and a good future. This nation was able to endure the Clinton years -- and we still have our freedom -- because of the strong military you built up. We truly are a shining city on a hill!
May God bless you and your family. Happy birthday, Sir!

Amen! Happy Birthday Mr. President!
That picture reminds me of the biography I saw of him on TV not long ago. One of the interviewees was the President's horse trainer and riding companion; He broke down in tears describing how he had to tell Reagan that his people felt that his health had declined too much for him to continue riding.
God bless him and Nancy too!

Another one... you know, if any man should have had a healthy retirement and been elder statesman, it is President Reagan. The good go away young. :(

I registered as a Republican so I could vote for him for Governor of California; absolutely love the man.
