According to Cedillo, illegal immigrants are driving anyway. He contends his bill would make sure they are tested, licensed and insured. "Our priority and our obligation are to make sure our highways are safe for all the people of California, and that's what the governor and I are committed to," he said.


I don't care how many times I read this, It still doesn't make sense to reward folks who are illegals in this fashion.

Cedillo is the one who should be committed, imo.

Yep. And Arnold is not going to get ONE Republican vote for such a "deal." We'll be back to another referendum if they haven't heard us. By golly, they WILL hear us.
