WASHINGTON - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's $15 billion bond plan "is a necessity, unfortunately," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Thursday.

"It's not a good option," Pelosi, D-San Francisco, said during her weekly news briefing. "It's a bad option among many bad options."

Pelosi is for it, and McClintock is against it.

That does it for me...

Ugh... Pelosi Gallore. She'd look better after being thrown out the 40th floor window. More useful as well...

Nancy Pelosi? That settles it for me.

I've got a swell idea, let's all vote against the bond measure and see what happens. They actually might have to...shudder...cut the size of the Government.

Why don't we just cut services to address the deficit and cut taxes and regulations to attract new business to California?

We aren't going to get out of this hole by digging deeper, Governor.

Surely you jest. Do you REALLY expect government in this state to be cut. I see a tax increase on the horizon.

I also keep hearing that Dianne Feinstein is going to endorse the bond. I haven't heard that she actually has, though, just that she's going to.

Prop 56 ads running like crazy right now, and every time it is on and I'm in a public place, I watch the reactions of others. I shudder at every nodding head I see.

No, but we can dream, can't we? It would be interesting to see what the Institutions that hold our debt would do if we can't pay. I'm sure they'd be all in favor of a tax increase???

By the by, in case you thought otherwise, the State is still hiring people, but on an "Limited Term" basis...sigh.
