Nope. No reason to...yet. My kid has got a handle on him and it actually makes for good, conservative conversation in our house.

My husband has always been very strict about the type of music and television which comes into our home. One year my son requested a cd which had a language warning on the front. He seemed to think that we wouldn't notice, but I did. I bought him the sanitized version with the bad words cut out. The cd had so many blank spots that you couldn't listen to it. He never asked for another cd.
I can't stop them from listening to the garbage outside of the home, but I'm darn sure going to not allow it inside my home. That is what is so offensive about the half-time show.
The degrading of the culture is part of the leftist agenda to destroy the family values and blur the lines of sexuality. Actually blur isn't the right word, erase is more like it. Anyway, the court case in Massachussetts comes at an opportune time, in an election year when Americans will be forced to pay attention and take a position. Even the Bush critics on the right will have to decide to back him if they don't want to throw away every
value that they so strongly support.

My suggestion to Peggy has to how to start to reverse the trend is to buy Dr. Laura's new book and follow her advice. It is such a return to traditional marriage roles that it is driving the women's libbers nuts.

Good idea.

buy Dr. Laura's new book and follow her advice. You are so correct.
Do you find, or think that there is a relatively close knit group in Hollywierd who are................apparently ruining this country? On purpose?

This is a speed bump on the way to the bottom of the hill. Watch the "Man Show", Howard Stern or listen to Tom Leykis. Our local sports/talk station, interviews porn stars to fill the time. Positively drooling on the microphones. OH YEAH, we are turning around as a nation, but turning around just to show off our bare behinds to the world and our God.

Anyway, the court case in Massachussetts comes at an opportune time, in an election year when Americans will be forced to pay attention and take a position.I agree. And just as the court case has come along at an opportune time, I feel that in a similar way, the "appearance to millions of children's eyes of an apparent sexual assault and the entire travesty of smut" during halftime of the Super Bowl has brought the digusting (intentional) "degrading of the culture" issue to the front. It is time for action. It really is now or never.
p.s. Congrats to you and your husband on throwing the disgusting, degrading music out of your house.

"you think you used enough dynamite? ... that was the script. ;) Almost: Think ya used enough dynamite there, Butch? was the line.

Butch, you know that if it were *my* money, there is nobody that I would rather have steal it than you. But, you see, I am still in the employment of E. H. Herriman, of Union Pacific Railroad.
I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals.
But Etta had the best line in the film.
