Vets_Husband_and_Wife Need Our Prayers!

"My Liver Doctor is wonderful. I've had the same specialist for over 10 years.

We do an Ultra Sound and a Cat Scan once a year. It works out to be one every six months. Last week was the Cat Scan.

This morning my Liver Doctor called to say there was a Lesion on my Liver. Thankfully Art was home with me, because to be honest, this really knocked the wind out of me. I guess I had gotten used to them always being negative.

My biggest fear has been the big "CA" of the Liver. That is why we screen so often for it, because of my disease. (Hep/C that I got while serving-see FR profile).

Anyway,.. we went into the Doctors office today and have more blood work tomorrow. An Ultrasound next Wednesday.

We are both scared (I'd be lying if I didn't admit it) but we also decided to stay strong, and pray that this is BENIGN, we are asking God for that, and are giving this worry over to Him.

We would REALLY appreciate some prayers. I'm so mentally exhausted and I don't have it in me to do post this right now. So we ask for your prayers that this lesion is BENIGN. We also ask that we can be STRONG and honor our Father and KEEP THE FAITH at all times!

We'll hear on the blood work Monday, and the Ultasound isn't until next Wednesday.. but will have to wait probably until Thursday or Friday for the reading on that.

So it is the waiting game. (Which already feels like forever). But we will read this thread, scripture, and I will pray for the strength to honor my belief in Christ by showing my faith better!

I feel so weak in spirit right now. Up, then down, then UP, then down.. Yet I know I believe.. ALL THE TIME...kind of confusing. But this thread has really lifted me up.

So thanks! From the bottom of my heart!

Mary Ann and Art - hang in there. Do your best to get some rest, knowing that there are many of us out here in extended FR land who are pulling for you and praying for you.

Which means more to us than we can express!! Thank you so much from both of us! After I get some answers off, I will be resting, neither of us got much rest last night. We are trying to give this worry to God, but we need a little more practice! Will be glad when next week is over and we get GOOD NEWS!

You prayer warriors are something else! But, then, I never expected anything else. God bless you all.

TexasCowboy.. late last night, I was hit by fear and uncertainty.... so I came in here and just sat and read the prayers. You are so right. They prayer warriors have no idea what their prayers can do for a fellow Christian or person in need. I felt a sense of calm come over me, and I finally could go to bed.

I read some scripture from Isaiah, and when I'm done here, I plan on reading Isaiah again.

I honestly don't know how people get through tough times or stressful times without our Lord Jesus Christ. I would be so lost. Art would be so lost.

You guys are helping us so much. I can't describe it.

May God BLESS each and every one of you in some special way.

Now.. I'm off to try to answer these beautiful prayers and thoughts. Though I'm not sure I'm going to make it through all of them this morning.
