On the subject you raise--the poor quality of some call ins--there is probably a lot of material being posted at Free Republic, which is being relatively wasted, as preaching to the Choir, which could improve the quality of such call ins.

I agree. But this is the quandry that P.J. O'Rourke (I believe) cited in one of his books. O'Rourke, or an acquaintance, (I can't remember) noticed that the only protesters he ever saw were of the leftist/liberal variety. O'Rourke mentioned that the conservatives work for a living and therefore cannot take the day off to hold signs and yell insults. Also I remember (squishy conservative) George Will mentioned that when liberals get wealthy they buy a newspaper but when conservatives get wealthy they buy a hockey team.

That is why I have created the Conservative Debate Handbook--which is full of arguments for which the Left has no real answer. (Debate Handbook)

Unfortunately they do have an answer but it usually is the equivalent of: "I know you are but what am I?"

In other words they counter your reason and logic with emotion and superficiality. Sadly, the masses eat that crap up.
