"So why do you think Osama prefers Bush over everyone else to choose from? "

Heck no. Osama will use whoever the American president is to represent the head of the evil infidels. Unless it was someone who would actively defund the military like Kucinich. He would love to see the US neutered by someone like that. However that would not happen as the majority of the American people and American public opinion is diametrically the opposite of that.

On the other hand, Bush has done many things that I'm sure Osama doesn't mind, such as remove the secular dictator of Iraq (who Osama called an "infidel").

If Bush was funding some huge R&D budget to take us off the dependency of arab oil he would anger terrorists who know that the massive wealth generated by oil funds the extremist islamic schools that have become pervasive througout the middle east, the kind that produced the American taliban. It could be argued that we are even more dependent on Saudi oil now than before Bush was elected which I'm sure would please Bin Laden.

Bin Laden would be pleased by Bush's foreign policy blunders that have led the rest of the world to believe American intelligence is not to be trusted. He would also be pleased that the post war planning in Iraq was so poorly executed that the intervention in Iraq will cost taxpayers billions of dollars to rebuild an Islamic country.

"You wouldnt have an agenda with those lame reasons you gave would you?"

You could argue that Bush will be more willing to push the envelope and use any available means in destroying Al Qaeda. I think the American people will only elect someone who is ruthless in prosecuting a war against Al Qaeda. American people know we have a problem that will require a struggle for a long time.

I was in Oman, one of the most westernized Arab countries. The natives were very laid back, but half the country is Indian guest-workers (Oman had a real, workable immigration program). The caste system is alive and well with the Indians--every man knew his place and didn't step out of line. Except to call us idiots behind our backs, nobody messed around with the Americans--their economy and security relied too heavily on us "idiots".

Have you followed the "Caste" issue in the UN? It is pretty funny -- the UN shrinks from the idea of "born into" but then hits the wall of "all cultural values are valid."

If it was a robot on the old "Star Trek" it would self-destruct. That alone is worth watching

I have Inidan friends (I am in Technology so I have quite a few) who are like 7.8 or 8.2 -- everone goes for a 1/10 above -- or rather their parents do) and it amazes me how they let everything but their own thoughts make their life decisions -- it is why Indians make great coders but rare innovaters.

Me, I like to live my life and make my own decisions -- something the ME and much of the world would prefer to avoid.
