Master-builder of the new bribe sector systematically bilking the world He thrusts himself upon world statesmen and they respond. He has been close to Henry Kissinger, Vaclav Havel and Poland's General Wojciech Jaruzelski. 4 He supports the Dalai Lama, whose institute is housed in the Presidio in San Francisco, also home to the foundation run by Soros' friend, former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. 5 Soros is a leading
figure on the Council of Foreign Relations, the World Economic Forum, and Human Rights Watch (HRW). In 1994, after a meeting with his philosophical guru, Sir Karl Popper, Soros ordered his companies to start investing in Central and Eastern European communications. The Federal Radio Television Administration of the Czech Republic accepted his offer to take over and fund the archives of Radio Free Europe. Soros moved the archives to Prague and spent over $15 million on their maintenance. 2 A Soros foundation now runs CIA-created Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty jointly with the U.S. and RFE/RL, which has expanded into the Caucasus and Asia. 3 Soros is the founder and funder of the Open Society Institute. He created and maintains the International Crisis Group (ICG) which, among other things, has been active in the Balkans since the destruction of Yugoslavia. Soros works openly with the United States Institute of Peace-an overt arm of the CIA.

When anti-globalization forces were freezing in the streets outside New York's Waldorf-Astoria hotel in February 2002, George Soros was inside addressing the World Economic Forum. As the police forced protesters into metal cages on Park Avenue, Soros was extolling the virtues of the "Open Society" and joined Zbigniew Brzezinski, Samuel Huntington, Francis Fukuyama and others.

SOROS is evil, and Bush should stop our CIA from giving him a platform for international networking. Why are we letting him run radio free Europe?
To: philosofy123
It is the politics of man, that is fallable.
Soros has played at high levels affecting
most in the political arena. He is a manipulator
and has to be recognized as self serving by all
voters in both parties. We should ignore his campaign
abd vote for what we Americans believe in.

Soros has the walking-around cash, and he is ready and willing to spread the message. The message may be boiled down the three words - "Bush is bad". That's it, that is the entire scope of what he has to say. Which he repeats, endlessly.
Easily some $300 million or so already distributed to several "advocacy groups" of which MoveOn.org is only the most recognized.
And you thought the idea of Bush running up a $200 million war chest was excessive?
Considering the firepower that is going to be directed at Bush and the Republican party in general, great peril lies at our doorstep.
To: philosofy123
This may well explain all the intelligence problems we've had of late. Clearly this socialist has way too much influence in high places while his loyalties do NOT extend to the U.S. or the free enterprise system.
He and the Rat party were made for each other!

You are correct, and he is but one of many who for self interest, continue to undermine anyone who puts America first, as George W Bush has done.
This just shows us the agenda of our enemies.

Middle American and the working class doesn't buy the Move.org Gen X party line against Bush.
Watching news footage of their unwashed unemployed anti-Bush, anti-war protestors, will only help Bush gain votes from people who work and vote.

I hope you are right in your assessment of MoveOn.org.
But this George Soros has some kind of narcissistic picture of himself as Savior of the Plutocrats, the Kingmaker, and the Light unto the World, whose aim is to spread the woe of the little people so nobody bears an excessive burden, but everybody carries similar burdens.
See the link in Post #5 above. Long read, but you get the gist of how this gnome has wormed his way into positions of influence all over the world. And how, once someone has earned his favor, he believes he OWNS them. Disobedience is punished unrelentingly and swiftly.
"Dr. Goldfinger" has a real-life counterpart.

SNAPSHOT OF SOROS: We know that Soros is in league with Peter Lewis--a pro-drug liberal-- and John Sperling. Soros can usually persuade Warren Buffet to go along with him. Peter Lewis is the chairman of the Progressive Insurance company (auto). I wonder how many of Progressive's claims are disputed when they result from NY Russian organized crime rings who stage "accidents" that rip-offed auto insurers, and Medicaid, of an estimated $1 billion lat year.
Then there is Soros' good-buddies, Mort Halpern, former Clintonoid John D. Podesta, Jeremy Rosner, Robert Boorstin and Carl Pope who have all hung out at his Long Island residence for private little "think tanks".
Soros supports Steve Rosenthal and Ellen Malcolm, his puppets who are running the anti-Bush group---ACT (America Coming Together)-----and to whom he pledged $10 million. His friends also pledged money to ACT: Robert Glaser, of RealNetworks, $2 million; Robert McKay, on behalf of the McKay Family Foundation, $1 million; and Lewis and Dorothy B. Cullman gave $500,000.
No one has any doubts about his connections to Russian oil magnate and corrupt oligarch Khodorkovsky.
Some may know of Soros' joint venture involvement in Mustcom. He is aligned with Vladimir Potanin of Uneximbank; Boris Jordan of Renaissance Capital; Nicholas Jordan, Boris' brother of Deustche Bank's Russian Division of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, and the Morgan Stanley Investment Group.
Soros has already given $15 million dollars to defeat Bush. The millions George Soros is spending apparently come from his so-called foundations but none of Soros' foundations are US-based. While George Soros is a United States citizen (residing in suburban New York), Soros must comply with FEC campaign spending limits which are limited to $2000 a person........unless the donor is a corporate sponsor. However, George Soros does not own any American corporations.
Soros is chairman of the Open Society Institute (OSI) and the founder of a network of so-called philanthropic organizations that are active in more than 50 countries and which give Soros cover to launch his currency scams and government coups). Soros is based primarily in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union but also in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
Soros foundations are autonomous institutions established in particular countries or regions to supposedly initiate and support Soros' Open Society activities. The priorities and specific activities of each Soros foundation are determined by a local board of directors and staff in consultation with George Soros and OSI boards and advisors. In addition to support from the Open Society Institute, many of the foundations receive funding from other sources.
Soros foundations consist of national foundations in 29 countries, foundations in Kosovo and Montenegro, and two regional foundations, the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) and the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA). OSISA and OSIWA, which are governed by their own boards of directors and staffs from the region, make grants in a total of 27 African countries.

Wealthy Liberals Give Heavily in Bid to Oust Bush
by Lisa Getter
WASHINGTON Faced with a new ban on unlimited donations to political parties, some of America's wealthiest liberals have given large sums to help finance independent organizations that want to defeat President Bush in November, according to records released by the IRS on Monday.
Major contributors to the groups include philanthropist George Soros, who gave $5 million, and Cleveland-based insurance billionaire Peter Lewis, who donated $3 million. Hollywood producer Steven Bing gave $2 million, and Rob Glaser, chief executive of RealNetworks, a software maker, gave $745,000.
But the groups, known as 527s for the section of the tax code that applies to them, have raised nowhere near the hundreds of millions their organizers predicted, the reports show. Such predictions had led to speculation that the groups would take advantage of loopholes in campaign finance law to become a shadow Democratic money machine.
"There have been a lot of exaggerated numbers floating around about how much
groups related to Democrats would raise and spend in the 2004 election," said Fred Wertheimer, president of Democracy 21, a campaign-finance watchdog group in Washington. "The two biggest groups
announced plans to spend a total of $190 million to defeat President Bush. What these reports show is that to date, they have raised just 8% of that $190 million."
Democracy 21 has filed a complaint about the groups with the Federal Election Commission, alleging they were created to skirt the ban in the 2002 campaign finance law on so-called soft money the unlimited donations to political parties. ......
One of the groups Jordan represents, America Coming Together, reported raising $12.5 million in 2003. The group hopes to raise $95 million.
Most of its money has come from Soros and Lewis. Other big givers included Taco Bell heir Rob McKay, who gave $245,000; Rockefeller Family Fund President Anne Bartley, who gave $120,000; and philanthropist Lewis Cullman, who gave $50,000.
A related group, the Joint Victory Campaign 2004, raised nearly $8 million, including the $2 million from Bing. The producer had been among the largest contributors of soft money to the Democratic Party.
The group also collected $900,000 from Houston investor Linda Pritzker; $345,000 from Agnes Varis, a New York chemical company owner; $100,000 from Julie Packard of the Monterey Bay Aquarium; and $95,000 from Laurie David, wife of HBO star Larry David.
Former Clinton aide Harold Ickes, whose Media Fund is part of the Joint Victory Campaign, said, "When we say we'll hit the $75-million mark, that is cash and hard pledges," he said........

Like George's father, and then he indirectly gets implicated. If George was any friend of Soros, he would not be the target of the Soros rage.
This is a fight to the finish, and I for one will back George against these types

Why? If the guy is actively working to get you out of the WH, the least you can do is to order our government not to give him roles!

The Kerry/UN/Soros victory is a defeat of Amercian power.
Soros has said he wants to, "burst the bubble of Amercian supremacy".
