TV viewers hate seeing War Protesters...

http://www.business-journal.com/LateMarch03/AlJazeeraEnglish.html

As for how U.S. news organizations should cover opposition to the war, a well-known TV news consulting organization active through the years in the Youngstown market urges local TV stations to beware. Frank N. Magid Associates, a media research and consulting firm based in New York, "recently released a survey of more than 6,000 television viewers that found of all the war topics covered, they were least interested in seeing or hearing stories about war protesters," reports the March 24 edition of Broadcasting & Cable.

The trade journal notes, quoting a Magid consultant, "How much time you devote to [protests] and where you place it in the newscast" must be considered with viewer distaste for protest in mind."

In other words, coverage of war protesters is bad for the bottom line.

I wonder if there is any war protest film footage that the RNC can use against Kerry in an ad? A nice little clip of Kerry getting arrested would be nice.
