BOULDER, Colo. -- A few years ago, Jeff O'Holleran said he began to realize that he was different from the other boys he knew.
"I started having certain thoughts," said Mr. O'Holleran, 19, a student at the University of Colorado (CU). "I would go out into my mom's car, turn it on auxiliary and listen to Rush Limbaugh."

Come out, come out, wherever you are!!
I think there are more and more young conservatives out there ... a trend I expect will continue for a while as sensible teens and young adults tire of the vacuous, thoughtless liberalism of their slower, dumber friends.

Good going, Jeff. Model yourself as RUSH. Don't attack vindictively & do your homework. Give us an update on your travails

This is one of the funniest thing I have heard since Dean's yell! Good for these young men and women! They are being very clever.

This is so great! WOW!
God does have us covered. I needed to hear that today, when I am wondering why he is ignoring our prayers and allowing judges ---in the very place my Puritan forefathers founded this country, for His glory and the advancement of Christianity---to FORCE immorality on this nation?

I think there are more and more young conservatives out there ... a trend I expect will continue for a while... Hopefully they will research traditional conservative ideals and start there instead of following the foolish party groupies into the abyss of politically expedient "compassionate conservatism" being shoveled by opportunistically socialist politicians.

Dibs on the cooking slot in Right Eye For The Left Guy!

When I started looking at grad schools, there were some places I simply had to scratch from consideration. Just looking at their website or catalog, you could tell that unless you were willing to mold yourself into a leftist ideologue, you weren't going to make it there.

They already know what they stand for and they believe they are conservative.... a statement which applies equally well to LC Republicans. Which brings us full circle to the thread's title, or so I thought.
Some brands of compassion make the conservatism awfully hard to find.

Rush is talking about this right now.
To: Krodg
So they can foolishly follow someone else's ideals? They already know what they stand for and they believe they are conservative. All political ideals are established by "someone".
Anyone can believe they are anything at all but to adopt such a belief without knowing the established history of that belief is just some emotional hysteria to which most mindless groupie types succumb.

wow that's a lot of big words for one sentence.
But from what I'm seeing and hearing I think they are doing it right.

wow that's a lot of big words for one sentence. Sorry, but 50 to 60 years ago the nuns made you learn 5 new words a day for what seemed like an eternity.
But from what I'm seeing and hearing I think they are doing it right.
I pray to God that you correct.

Yeah, they taught me the word "are" but I'm getting old and forgot to put it between "you" and "correct" above.
