How long do you think we unincarcerted citizens can compete with domestic workers who get 35 cents an hour and whose bosses don't have to worry about workmen's comp, employment taxes, FICA and all the other "bennies" that private companies have to deal with?

Agreed. Some BIG fights here in WIsconsin over prison labor--usually won by the manufacturers, not the prison system.
