Quote "Nice troll.
Wrong lure."

Troll? LOL...nice try

I have no problem with this legal ruling. I am a firm believer in equal rights...

Just because you don't believe in this doesn't mean you have the rigth to tell someone else what to do or how to live.

Your beliefs are just that...your beliefs.

I think you are wrong here. This is not a question of your beliefs versus his beliefs. Believe it or not, this is not about you. This is about what the people of this country want the definition of marriage to be. Clearly they want it to be man/woman. There may be a constitutional amendment to designate it as such. You nor I have to right to live our lives in any way we please. We are not living in Utopia but in a country governed by laws and some of those laws have to do with how we live. At this point the last word has not been said. So until then, try to remember this is not all about you.

Why don't we eliminate all laws then?

And neither does the court have the right to enforce its twisted morality on the rest of us. By enforcing homosexual marriage as a societal norm, there will be no way legal way to stop it from being taught in public schools across the country. In many places it is already.

Just so we are clear, this has nothing to do with equal rights. It has to do with using government force to radically change our culture.

"Just because you don't believe in this doesn't mean you have the rigth to tell someone else what to do or how to live."

Exactly! We should allow all perverts to be legally recognized!

Pedophiles shouldn't be told how to live...its their choice! We should recognize pedophilia next as a "lifestyle" just like the APA does.

From: http://www.sexcriminals.com/news-archive/info-16252.html

Professional organizations are trying to catch up in the race to normalize what we once called "depravity." The American Psychiatric Association (APA), which declared homosexual practice normal, has recently entertained the notion of similarly downgrading pedophilia.

The APA's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) once contended that merely "acting upon" one's urges toward children was enough to generate a diagnosis of pedophilia. But in the revised DSM, a person who molests a child is considered psychiatrically sick only if his actions "caused clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational or other important areas of functioning."

That seems to mean that if the molester is OK with it and the child doesn't complain, it's healthy. It can't be wrong if it feels so right, right?

Where do you draw the line?

Libertinarianism on parade. The rest of us will hide the household pets for their own protection lest the libertinarians take advantage of them while in the neighborhood.

EQUAL RIGHTS?????? Any man and any woman, not already married to a member of the opposite sex, are EQUALLY entitled to marry a member of the OPPOSITE sex. The inherently disordered and perverted desire of one lavender in heat for another carried out by putting things where they do not belong and by nefarious whoring after societal approval of lavender canoodling, is no reason for language abuse. Marriage is an exclusive heterosexual relationship between two people, one male and one female. Government did NOT institute marriage.

If we have reached the point where that is not judicially enforceable, we have reached the point where we need a new constitution and one which will pre-empt the states' respective authorities and laws, in favor of traditional Judaeo-Christian morality, on such questions as to the nature of marriage, and the right to life from the moment of conception to natural death. Would this impose morality? You bet it would and it is about time.

Meanwhile, let's see ballot initiatives on wedge issues designed to intimidate these libertinarian courts once and for all. If they want to overturn referenda and initiatives, let's party. It will ease the task of pulling the malicious and impious fangs of the judiciary in Massachusetts and elsewhere, to say nothing of breaking the impudent back of such courts. If it is necessary to stripmine normal attitudes of normal members of the public early on to prevent the customary societal softening by relentless leftist propaganda, so be it.

Make this the central wedge issue of the 2004 elections and it will be a landmark election returning record numbers of civilized legislators, prepared to enforce morality in this minimal way, and the landslide destruction of Kerry who will spend the entire campaign tripping over his feet defending lavender canoodling to Democrats of modest means who go to church.

This is not an issue of rights, morals or health; it is a definition.

The only recourse is to dissolve all marriage ceremonies and replace them with commitment I.O.Us; each union will be bound by the terms of its individual contract and the state will simply review the contract for conformity to contract law.

All titles such as Mr. or Mrs. will be removed from these contracts and be replaced by the gender-neutral term, Co-unit.

All members of the same household whether present before the contract or afterward shall be known as Sub-unit# ( i.e. Sub-unit1, Sub-unit2...).

Sub-units will have no surviving claim apart from the terms of the original contract or an amended version signed by both Co-units upon presentation and review by the state.

All laws pertaining to the use of the genitals of any person not covered by such contracts will be held to be taxable and once taxed all monies collected will be held by the state to satisfy debts common to rapes, STD treatments and unemployment benefits for needless divorce lawyers; contract-covered Co-units will be taxed 3% of their gross earnings each year the contract is force and all such monies will be used to raze and redevelop all church properties located within the bounds of the state, county and city in which the Co-units reside.

There will be a 5-day waiting period to purchase any blunt instrument, any sharp instrument and any length of cord, twine, rope or fabric exceeding 750 millimeters in gross length.

Alcoholic beverages will be served free of charge at all roadside rest areas and in all public schools.

Certified spayed and neutered unattached units will be exempt from all taxes except for those on food and clothing.

I'm a little curious about how this new law will be worded. I mean gays are3 not the only people currently forbidden to marry. How can you write a marriage law that prohibits discrimination without allowing marriage between siblings -- don't laugh, marriage is a legal contract that would confer great benefits in inheritance of large estates. How about marriage between 50-year-olds and nine-year-olds. In my state marriage at any age confers adult status. This would also have implications in the realm of inheritance and ownership.

LOL!!! You are so silly!!! So, you are in favor of one man being able to marry multiple women? And multiple women being allowed to marry multiple men? And what about the rights of people who have sex with farm animals? They are being denied the "right" to marry their sheep. If you are against them having these "rights" who are you to judge?

You are simply a firm believer in spreading and promoting sexual deviancy.

Please name a *single* "right" that heterosexuals have that homosexuals do not.

I dare you.
