The bad thing is the Vet says pigs ears are no, no's, to high in fat, and they are not USDA approved, they contain bacteria that can cause big time troubles in the intestinal trac, even death.

I've been subing in people pork rinds, he likes those just as well.

You know...I never really thought about pigs ears possibly containing bacteria but it makes sense. Don't think I want to introduce Giz to people pork rinds...he's getting a little "paunch" LOL!

Rocky is just so sweet. I ahhem...Giz really enjoyed getting to know him :o)

Oh, no! I have never heard that. My dachshund has never cared about them, but our little silky terrier just loves his "piggy chews". We've never mentioned to the vet that we give them to him. I had no idea they could be harmful.
