I excerpted it, because the article prominently features the source: The Washington Post, which needs to be excerpted.

It didn't take the FBI long, did it?
But how can they blame this on Hatfill, when they have been shadowing him 24/7 for the past two years?

I think the FBI are pointing themselves into a corner, because if they link the two attacks, they either have to blame this on Hatfill as well -- despite of the FBI following him around 24/7, OR they have to admit that NEITHER attack had anything to do with Hatfill and both attacks were perpetrated by Al Qaeda, with bioweapons they got from Saddam.
My bet it that they will claim that Hatfill slipped away from them for an hour, and that's when he went to another lake, where he processed ricin and mailed it.

Well, I have a theory that TGS never really left, he is just keeping a low profile under some unobtrusive SN.

let's see how many of these ricin appearances are legitimate, so far, its only the letter to Frist that has been confirmed I think.

Ricin was also sent to the White House in November, kept secret until now, but confirmed. That was a vial of liquid, this is powder.
FBI Says Ricin Also Mailed to White House in Nov.
Powder Found in Frist's Senate Office Is Confirmed
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A8403-2004Feb3.html The FBI said today that a letter containing a vial of the poison ricin was mailed in November to the White House. That disclosure followed an announcement by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) that authorities have confirmed the white powder found in a Senate office building yesterday was ricin.
The White House incident had been kept secret until now. The letter, officials said, never reached the White House because it was intercepted at an offsite mail facility.

I wonder how hard it is to make ricin into powder form.

I'd look to Greenpeace or some other such group.

Haven't the feds learned their lesson yet? When will they end the horror by banning possession of turtle traps...err...tupperware containers...err..portable synthetic sealable anthrax mixing chambers?

LOL!!!
They will just ban motor oil.

Did the trucker sent the anthrax too?
FBI says their operative theory is that the two mailings are related.

With all the vitriol flowing from the left-wing, from Deaniacs, to the Moore-ons, to the cabal of socialists sponsoring Answer and Move-On, the "person of interest" list at the FBI should be a mile long now.

[sarcasm] ya think??? [/sarcasm]
No wonder the DUmmies are weting their beds. This ricin mailing to Frist and Bush disproves Rosenberg, and the loney left's, theory of the disgruntled right winger anthrax mailer.
On a more serious note, I guess forcing that idiot who headed Amerithrax to retire may reap some results after all.

what was post #10?
if they have anthrax, and have demonstrated they can use it, why would they now send ricin? are they out of anthrax now that saddam's supply channel has dried up?

Post #10 was just a post of an article, which talked about the ricin mailing in December, which was attributed to a disgruntled trucker.
It may have been pulled, because the article was from the WP and the poster copied the whole thing. ( I am not sure, I just read it, replied, and poof! it was gone, so that's what I surmise, because otherwise there was nothing wrong with the article).
"The letter was addressed to the Department of Transportation, and the sender was protesting the new hours-of-services rules for truck drivers. The typewritten letter was from someone who claimed to be a fleet owner of a tanker company. It demanded that present laws regarding HOS remain unchanged."

"I hold in my hand a list of all organizations suspected of sending Ricin to the RNC, the White House, Senator Frist... I want all of you to ask me before I get any endorsements from you guys!"

I think the anthrax was just to see how we operate. If it was caught in time, there is a remedy. Ricin will get you to the hospital where they will record your time of death.
