With some help from your links here is the bottom line. While Kerry was protesting the war, tossing someone else's medals over a fence, criticizing his once comrads in arms and testifying before Congress, President Bush was in the cockpit and in the air in a F102 Interceptor Jet. Word is that piloting those jets was no walk in the park. You needed to be both smart and have courage to fly the plane. At that moment in time in 1971, which of the two young men was serving his country with more ditinction?
