Unfortunately, I don't know. I did find a hit for a Virginia McDermott on the FY 1983 IOWA CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION STAFF. Probably not the same one but there it is.

Well, if she is related to that Congressional Benedict Arnold, this non-profit group certainly has an interesting advisor. No wonder they invited Wilson. Wonder how much he's getting paid. And I bet no-one will ask if he and/or wifey was the source for the Beeb's yellowcake stories...
