Just because you wear pasties all the time, doesn't mean lots of girls do.

I heard Katie's clip on Laura Ingrahm this morning and read Howie Dean's comments on this scandal.
Both Katie and Howard seem to dismiss this outrage when one considers just what can be seem flipping around the dial on cable. They live in their ivory towers and don't consider that some of us out here in flyover country deliberately don't subscribe to cable (which would fund such programming from our subscription fees even if we didn't watch it).
The FCC regulates air broadcasters in ways the cable industry is not regulated. HBO shows full frontal nudity these days (their "Real Sex" program has shown she-males and a whole lot of disgusting stuff). Would that be acceptable on a network broadcast of "the big game"?

And what is he doing grabbing at her breast anyhow. Start grabbing guys. It's Okay! Remember, it's allowed now under the terms of the feminist-sanctioned "Bill Clinton 'One Free Grope' Rule".

Their second round lies are less convincing than their first round ones. They ought to quit while they're ahead. But since they're never ahead I guess that's not possible.

The fact that the breast was "dressed" up shows it was planned Absolutely. And to me that is the part they can't deny. But I heard one of "her people" try to put a spin on it that she is known to wear that kind of jewelery. Yes, most 38 year old women sit around with big giant metal things on their breasts. Not for show ofcourse, just for their own personal pleasure.

In a statement released Monday night, Jackson said the stunt that revealed a breast clad only in a sun-shaped "nipple shield" in front of some 89 million viewers went awry after being planned at the last minute. That doesn't sound like any kind of planning to me. That sounds like two renegades deviating from the plan.
With a cast of thousands, and coordinated lighting, sound, and camera cues to consider, the planning would have included all the performers and crew, with the stage manager calling the shots.
These two chucked the plan and did their own thing contrary to the plan. They played with fire and got burned.

Do you expect ANY Jackson or anyone they associate with, to tell the truth about anything? They are all a bunch of liars .

I think the long run winner in this story is Mr. Powell. I like the guy. He actually referenced his family in his statement, and I appreciate that.

The fact that her costume, including the red bra obviously, were made to break away demonstrates this was long in the planning.
That, not the piercing, is the proof. Add in the bragging beforehand about how shocking their performance would be and there is zero doubt they are lying now about last minute and/or (take your pick, I guess!) costume malfunctioning.
To: Political Junkie Too
More than Timberlake and Jackson were involved in this. Neither of these pampered brats would rig their own wardrobe for breakaway. One of the costumers had to rig Jackson's outfit and bra (undergarments don't tear like that naturally). I'm sure that person just got themselves guaranteed employement for life with Viacom, as long as they forget what they did and who told them to do it.

But that wasn't a pasty. That was a nipple ornament. And a very decorative one, at that! Well said.
A shiney silver star, wasn't it?
Maybe it was supposed to cover a Christmas tree bulb.
