Frenchie has some explaining to do himself.

They are not running out of anything. If you think they have no issues you'd better read the newspapers - every day. They have tons of anti Bush ads and the republicans are doing damn little to defend this president.

You are right - they have real issues: the huge deficits, the ongoing war, the WMD issue, high unemployment, unresolved health care issues, etc. People who predict a Bush landslide are living in a dream world; IMHO, we will be lucky to win.

Bush ain't going to waste time answering every silly pronouncement by the Dems in their primary. If you think the Bush team will be timid once the campaign starts, you have not followed GWB's career. Ask John McCain. So keep your gloom under your hat for until Memorial Day, when the presidential campaign actually kicks in.

BOTTOM LINE:
Much has been made of Kerry's Vietnam experience and how he saved a fellow soldier who fell off a boat.
By allying himself with Jane Fonda and who knows who else, after he left the service, how many American soldiers did he unknowingly help send to their deaths?
He is repeating the pattern of comforting our enemies again!!
When will some media pundit nail him?!
Kerry is a disgrace to the uniform and the flag!!

And it is the AFTER Vietnam that is REALLY the heart of the matter...He may well have done his DUTY in Nam...but afterwards, he was a darling of the communists.

I can't imagine Kerry was never asked about Clinton's war record, or lack of it, during the Clinton presidency. It would be interesting to hear Kerry's spin on that.

I just read an article in the Atlantic Monthly and now will have a hard time to get through my lunch. The stories this man Kerry tells, he must have sold his writings from his tour in Vietnam and that in itself his hard to phathom selling your thoughts at a time when you were young and with dedication to God and Country. Saying comments such as Wherever I went and a young Vietnamese men would look at me I grew scared. There was no way to tell who was who, well damn the confusion for his poor self. Next War we will ask if they will wear badges so everyone knows everyone. Another quote was You could be in a room with one and not know if he was really a Charlie or not. I am sorry but if this man had such thoughts then what will he do in a situation as a POTUS. Sorry but I can have any faith in a person who was educated and primed for a Silver Spoon and couldn't figure these simple rules in a war time environment. I was not a college graduate at the time I was there nor did I have an opportunity to visit All the exotic ports along the rivers of Nam. When I came back home I was spat at and only in the past 8 to 9 years have I even spoke about my tour of Duty to anyone. But this Guy wants me to vote for him, a turn coat, War Protester, Jane Fonda A$$ Kisser, I can't for the life of me believe he has the nerve to question anybodies military record when you listen to what he did when he came home. I agree he served his tour and commitment but that doesn't give him the special privilege to down grade his Country, Which happens to be mine also. Well I know you didn't expect this comment but I stand by every word.

And then Kerry can explain the civilians and ARVNs his Swiftboat slaughtered as he tooled around indiscriminately firing.Bush waged two surgical wars.
Kerry was a river plague of death and destruction.

Kerry is deceptive. He's now posing as a populist, but I just came upon a site by a - gad - MA democrat (I guess) accusing him of being a corporate wh**re. Gee, I thought that's what they keep accusing us of.
Rotten site - seems to be all text. But since he doesn't like Kerry I'll send him a copy of Front Page :)

If someone repeats this make that into a URL willya? I haven't read the specs on how to do that yet :)

"I am glad Kerry is sticking his foot in this mouth...this will BRING out the questions about his war protesting."
Kerry's participation in the war protests is a minor issue. The big problem is that he gave false testimony to Congress and promoted lies about the conduct of American soldiers in Vietnam. Most of the people involved with Kerry in the VVAW had never served in Vietnam and several had never even served in the military at all. Kerry is a fraud. He supported the war in Vietnam when he accepted a commission in the U.S. Navy, then he was against the war when he came home; he was for war in Iraq when Clinton was President, now he is against the war again. Like you, I welcome a close examination of Kerry's record.

One of the moderators in the NH debate beat Clark over the head with this lie, which has been disproven by none other than the NY Times, which just goes to show you this is big lie.

My father, a VNV (UH-1B Seawolf pilot) loathes Kerry. Can't stand him. He claims Kerry was only in-country for 3 months, and during those 3 months, he somehow managed to get himself 1 Silver Star, a pair of Bronze Stars, and 3 Purple Hearts. Questions: (1) WAS Kerry only in country for 3 months, (2) How rampant was medal poaching in VN? Was a sympathetic or bribable clerk/REMF all that was needed if one were shady/ambitious enough?

Anybody have Kerry's speech from 1992 defending Clinton and talking of how military experience should not be a consideration for president?

The left has no battle plan except to try to resurect the same dead talking points. They forget that they supported a draft dodger who was on record saying "I LOATHE THE MILITARY". This same dodger served as president sending men into battle many times (and even permitting a tank to be used against Americans on US soil).
The left shows no outrage at such horrors and then they don't want to acknowledge that the bar has been lowered.
Kerry seems to think that the best defense of his own post war activities is to have a good offense against his main opposition candidate. Hey Kethcup Boy, you ain't the nominee yet, why aren't you campaigning against those guys?
This smacks of Howard Dean running his campaign as a way to defeat Rush Limbaugh (someone who is not elected and certainly not running for any office).

The liberal media will give Kerry no trouble about his political laissons with Hanoi Jane and commie-pig Angela Davis. Kerry put American soldiers in added danger.

That book cover needs to be made into posters and plastered everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Bring them to Kerry rallies, plaster them all over town. Heck, use them at the GOP Convention. I hope we will see Republicans at the convention with that displayed PROMINENTLY in posters EVERYWHERE. Hold them up, get the message across.
