Did he every do anything besides Billy Jack? I remember that he played the pilot of the PBY in the beginning and the middle of the movie version of South Pacific. That's all that I can recall...

But Billy Jack would've whipped Bruce Lee! And Robin (Burt Ward) would've kicked Kato's ass if they had fought for real! (Green Hornet, anyone?) You know I was too young and missed out of seeing the Green Hornet when it was on, but am tempted to get it on DVD to see it. I am not sure there has been too many if anyone on this planet who could have kicked Bruce Lee's butt in a fight. At least I know who I would have bet on.

Bush wants to surrender to mexico. How about that? Is Tancredo running? What are his poll numbers?

Laughlin, who first ran for president as a Democrat in 1992, said he's campaigning to draw attention to a two-party system he deemed "so corrupt it can't function anymore."
It always rankles me to hear of such abject hopelessness and the charge that our self-governance is so corrupted that it is dysfunctional and should be scrapped.

I just found a recent photo of him:

He's still married to her, he's 72, and he's using his presidential candidate website to raise money for a new movie.

Yes, I do remember the Hessman cameo. I was watching it again a few years back on late night tv. When Hessman comes on - I believe he is doing some skit on a stage, something like that - he looks like your typical hippie. But as I watched him I thought, I've seen this guy before. It took me awhile to figure it out.

He needs to get that hat out of the attic, He'd have instant recognition.

If only our hero Paulsen could have won! Just think of the heartbreak we, as a nation, could have avoided! The mind boggles.

"I wonder what the new movie is about?"From his website...
"While major studios wanted to make a new Billy Jack for $85-$100 million, starting with a $22 million up front salary to a star like Keanu Reeves, we will make a far superior new Billy Jack film for $10 million."
Sounds like he wants to remake the original Billy Jack. I sure hope he and Delores don't feel obligated to play the lead roles. Somehow, I don't think it would work. Hmm...
