I totally agree with you. I'm far from an environmentalist whacko, but I don't see why it's necessary to kill the snakes. We have a roundup in Pennsylvania where all of the snakes are returned to the wild.

I totally agree with you. I'm far from an environmentalist whacko, but I don't see why it's necessary to kill the snakes.

My husband is VERY into snakes. He is actually a public speaker going around educating people about snakes. He catches venomous snakes and donates them to the Venom Toxin Research Center at Texas A&M, where they are finding snake venom is helping in cancer research and blood clots.

That sounds even worse! Just think of all the snakes in PA that are slithering around telling near-death stories. Their blood pressure must be through the roof!

Im with you, no need to kill them. Catch them sure, educate the population on how to avoid them sure, milk their venom (used of course for the antidote to a bite) sure, then let them go.
