Seems fine to me. Naval Officer. Personal info @ mattblunt.com
Heard him speak not long ago. He is of course, Roy Blunt's son. Both solid on RKBA. I believe he would try and sort out the mess the Dims have made of Missouri over the past 10 years. He will have his work cut out for him-"Tax Man" Carnahan drove MO from 48th in TOTAL taxation to 18th-right up there with Mass/NY/Kali. Then Holden tightened the screws. What an embarrassment he has been...

Bob Holden's numbers are not good. Incumbents with negative ratings like his don't tend to win reelection. The fact that he might not even make it out of the primary is proof of his weakness. All that Matt Blunt has to do is build up his name I.D. with positive, biographical ads and avoid any serious mistakes. Furthermore, he won his first term by only 21,000 votes out of 2.3 million cast.
Kit Bond's situation is not as bright as the poll looks. Bond has held elective office almost non-stop since 1970, yet he polls barely over 50%. And he never wins by the margins his longivety would indicate. In the last election, everything went wrong for his 'Rat opponent, yet he only won by 53% to 44%. John Ashcroft always polled better numbers than that (60% in 1994), yet he narrowly lost in 2000. So Bond is not safe.

Only 3 percent gave him a rating of "excellent," while 34 percent rated his performance as "good." Was "he totally sucks" an option in the poll? He ain't called one-term-Bob for nothin'! ;o)

I seen this the other day. It is a good sign to see the shift to the right trend still gaining ground.
I went to vote earlier today and I was the only voter in the place !! One other guy showed up as I was finishing my ballot up, but I have never seen my polling place empty like that, ever.
