They should take a look at the Pre-Game Show, too, just to be sure in the future to keep it G-rated.

We will change our policy, our people and our processes for managing the halftime entertainment in the future in order to deal far more effectively with the quality of this aspect of the Super Bowl.Call it a hunch but, I expect future halftime shows will s*ck just the same. Otherwise, they'll lose the target audience.

(Just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary. You have the right to be wrong.)

If the NFL didn't know, at the very least they were asleep at the wheel. Not good. Go back to a simple marching band. It'll speed up the darn game.

So were the 80% of the commercials that were anus, penis, and bestiality-related, Commissioner. Parents don't want their kids watching the crap associated with your product. Fire all of the homosexual ad men.

What do we need halftime shows for anyway. Just show the highlights from the first half, maybe get a few interviews from players/coaches, have a marching band or two, then get on with the game.

Of course, what the NFL is mostly annoyed about is that
because the incident was unannounced (except for some
broad* hints), it had no effect on the ratings, and thus
no effect on ad rates, and no effect on the bottom line.
* No pun intended.

Look for the Democratic National Convention to book Janet Jackson now.

I agree. Most of the commericials were "bathroom humor". From the soap in the young boys' mouths to the horse and carriage. None were funny, all were offensive.

Great- back to the "good old days" of the "Aliens From A Far-Off Galaxy Have Come To Earth!!" dancing and singing in costumes half-time shows. Justin- you're an idiot, thank you SOOOOOO much for this.

Next year's Super Bowl is in Jacksonville....a patriotic Southern rock theme would go nicely there.

I was ticked off that this game is getting bigger and bigger, which translates into longer and longer. When it takes a half hour and a special show segment simply to get to the coin toss, then it's getting overboard. the game was supposed to start at six, Eastern time) not quarter to seven while we had to endure the commentators (sans limbaugh which is a real loss) bore us to tears.
play the dern game!!!

Obviously, the Commish is a racist for saying such things about Ms. Jackson, and he should be forced to interview a minimum of 50% black entertainers for next year's program, or face huge fines. Gee....where is Jesse Jackson when you need him? Do I have to do all the work around here.....
