I'm guessing that if the authors journalism career doesn't work out, he can fall back on gay porn.

It appears it should be easy to paint Kerry a flaming Liberal this election - since he is.

s.... people who like assault weapons should join the United States Army - we have them." He supports... a ban on assault weapons.

Well guess what Mr. Disco General... We Have Them Too. I bet there are more of them in private hands than in the military. There are more and more such self defense tools being bought by the private sector every day.

And this is exactly what the Founding Fathers knew would be "necessary to the security of a free State."

And it's gonna stay that way.

George Bush promised in the 2000 elections he would not push for any new gun legislation - and he hasn't.

God bless him for maintaining the existing tyranny.

I don't see much "backing off" in any of these positions. They all favor more illegal legislation. Clark and Kucinich want to go further than the "gunshow loophole" proposals, and infringe on even private sales.

Molon Labe!

Too late for the demoncraps - we know what they stand for. It may be okay for a few of them to have guns, but not us.

"Don't worry about the AWB. The Democrats know that if they push the issue too hard, it could hurt them by energizing more 2nd Amendment supporters into voting. The Republicans know if they push it, the opposite is true. House Majority Leader Tom Delay has said that the AWB is going to be DOA in the House. He will never let it out of committee and even if it managed to sneak out, there are no where near enough votes to pass it."

Unfortunately, Feinstien is putting a rider on the gun industry tort reform bill that would do away with the sunset and make the AWB permanent. Hopefully, the rider will get stripped off before going to Bush.

No, it only means that whatever pollster they last employed, actually gave them a dose of reality (Accidents will happen, y'know...).

These views represent a shift in views in the Democratic Party

Yeah, sure. We believe that. They've had a change of heart. I'm sure. Send for their free investor's packet...

Don't bet the farm on being able to convince us dumb, benighted rednecks out here of your newfound "Change of Heart", Demonrats...
