Luke 12:29-31:
29: "And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30: For all these things do the nations of the world seek: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31: But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."
May God bless the reading of His Word, and may God bless you as you restore your life.
Rachel,
Your report is wonderful confirmation of the goodness and faithfulness of God in all of our lives. I'm so thankful that you are feeling well enough to return to your job, and that a job opening was provided for the lady who filled in for you.
May God continue to bless you and yours, keep you in His providential care, and grant you the complete healing and return to good health that we all desire, and pray, for you.
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your love and care falls over all of us ... may we have the eyes to see Your goodness and the ears to hear Your whispers of love.
Thank You, Merciful Father, for the provisions You have given us in this community of friends. We pray that You will meet each need in each life, for You are a Bountiful God. We thank You that You store up each tear, that You hear every delightful laugh, that You feel the agony of a broken heart, that You know our fear. There is none like unto You, O Lord ... we are loved. In the Name of Jesus, we praise You, Amen ...
You're right, I think getting into the work routine of an outside job helps to focus and motivate in other areas.
God's blessings,
LucyJo
Hi, Crabbie, sending up prayers and adding you to my prayer list. :-)
God bless,
LucyJo
Giznort, you've got the right idea.
It's hard to concentrate on your health problems when you've got a thousand things to do.
You just don't have time to be sick!
We praise you, Father, for all your blessings!

I appreciate your continuing prayers and am sorry that I have to ask you for your help. I don't mean to be a whiner/complainer, but apparently, the chemo that had caused the tenderness in the palms of my hands has now gone to the soles of my feet. This manifested itself earlier this week but has now grown to be nasty. I know that it is directly from the chemo, but today it really started hurting. I know that as I go through chemo, and whatever else they figure I need, it's not going to be uneventful.
The soles of my feet are very painful, and have gotten progressively worse since Wednesday. As bad as they feel, I think I should see blood soaked socks!!! This is nasty!! I've been doing Easter dinner preps for Sunday and dont' want to wuss out in front of the relatives. I pray that the dear Lord helps me find some relief. I had the sore palms from the first round of chemo, and I found ways around that. It's harder to get around without using your feet.
I'm sorry to complain but I want to celebrate Easter at my house without my husband's family feeling sorry for me, etc. Thanks.

I would appreciate your prayers for my dear niece and her very beloved dog, a chocolate lab, Reggie, who is a dear, sweet, well-behaved 8-year old, who has just been diagnosed with cancer. At this point, it is believed that the surgery would require the splitting of Reggie's pelvis to obtain access to and the removal of the tumor, and that dogs usually recover from the surgery remarkably well. Please join us in our prayers for Erin, to calm her fears, to guide those who perform the treatment on Reggie, and for Reggie himself, to become cancer-free and to enjoy life with his family! In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
