It is obvious to anyone who watches that when the members of our Armed Forces salute this President, they mean it.
Thank you for this most gracious and heartwarming reminder.
I'm saving this breath of fresh air to read and reread over the next several months.

Thank you for posting this!
While I do not agree with everything President Bush does, I like him and I respect him.
I am SO happy to not have to be embarrassed by our President!
I would remind those who constantly complain that we are at war. This is a civilization war. If we lose this war, things like Medicare and illeagals will be the very least of our concerns
For the first time in a long time, we have a President who recognizes the threat and who is willing to put it to the bad guys!
We must NOT let a Dem get the reins at this tme!
"Dubya" has got my vote!

"Harkening back to the days of Ronald Reagan, Bush will not allow any man to attend a meeting in the Oval Office without a jacket and tie."
This is the very thing that made me realize how much respect President Reagan had for the office. Bravo to the current President Bush.
Maybe it's the way the human mind works, but I'd forgotton how vile the Clinton team was. What a disgrace. I'm starting to get sick again just thinking about it...

I want to take this moment to ask for something important from my fellow FReepers:
Please make a fresh commitment to redouble your prayers for George W. Bush.
If you have ping lists, please ping them to this request.

One has to wonder what a President and Mrs. Kerry would turn the WH into. Oh, I know! It would be a place for the elitist, very rich to gather and bloviate while sucking down caviar and champagne and discussing (but never actually doing) what they will eventually do for the poor.
To: EternalVigilance
Thanks for the post and the Admiral's comments.

Thank you for posting this! :-)

Back after 9-11, someone mentioned that their church group was praying for the President at 9 PM each night.
I don't know if they still are, but I set the alarm on my watch so that I would be reminded each night to pray for President Bush and our country.
With the polls in the last week, the bombings in Iraq, and the disgrace on TV, yesterday, we need to pray for God's grace to cover and recover our Nation. (And for the President's good night sleep, as well as all our friends and loved ones on line and in real life.)

Methinks it's the basic decency and ethics which ideologue-addled people really hate about President Bush.
