I agree, I love the show and thought the commercial was pretty funny. But even as I was watching it I thought to myself that if you weren't a fan of the show you probaby wouldn't "get it".

Having no clue that these guys were 'famous', I figured they just went on the cheap and hired some rednecks for unfunny commercials.
