You may be too young to understand this, but we used to have lines in this country that everyone understood were not to be crossed. Well, we've crossed them and now there's no going back until society decides that it's had its fill of living outside of God's laws.

Do you have the intellectual fortitude to read Augustine's work, 'The City of God'? I doubt it, but if you do it will challenge the world view you currently embrace.
