Do you think nudity is appropriate on network TV during a sporting event that families are watching?

Well, to start with, I don't own a television.

But to continue, nudity is common on television where I live. But graphic violence is not. I don't think there is anything ugly about a woman's breasts- if that's what you're asking.

It's not a question on whether woman's breasts are ugly -- it's a question about whether it's appropriate to have a naked breast on American broadcast TV when families are watching the game with their kids. Again, this wasn't the Spice Channel here -- this was the Super Bowl, an event that ostensibly the whole family can watch together. There was certainly no warning given that there was going to be this nudity, either.

As for the rest of your argument, I'll bet Janet Jackson defecates on a regular basis, too, but I don't particularly want to see her do that on TV either.

You lead a sheltered life.
