OUTRAGE AT CBS AFTER JANET BARES BREAST DURING DINNER HOUR; SUPER BOWL SHOW PUSHES LIMITS
**Exclusive**
Top CBS executives approved a musical skit where Janet Jackson would expose her breast during the MTV-produced Super Bowl half-time concert, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"The decision to go forward went to the very top of the network," a well-placed source explained from New York.
The groundbreaking scene came during the most-watched television broadcast of the year -- and during the dinner hour for the nation's west coast viewers.
In a press release before Sunday's game, CBS's sister outlet. [VIACOM's] MTV promised "Janet's Shocking Moments."
"I'll get you naked by the end of this song," sang performer Justin Timberlake, moments before he ripped off Jackson's top, exposing a bare breast -- the nipple covered by a tassel.
CBS's main New York switchboard was immediately bombarded with complaints about the stunt, netowrk sources said late Sunday.

Anyone know what the public nudity laws are in Houston?
(It'd be fun to have competing "Jackson Trial" threads on FR)

If CBS condoned this, they should NEVER be allowed to host the Super Bowl again. The network should at least be given a 10 year penalty for "Unnecessary Roughness" with the audience!

MTV Morals
What do you expect?
"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."
This may hurt CBS in an effort to renegotiate the NFL contract when the 2005-06 season expires. This is the network's last Super Bowl under the current NFL contract.

........and I suppose SBXXXVIII half-time show paid her up front!
More Jackson studpidity - it will take the media focus off Michael for a day or two.

I don't watch sports. I don't watch the Jacksons. Today is a work day in New Zealand, and I am working!
I have to work today because I have to support entitlements for the illegal and lazy given to me by the fat slob ted kennedy, clintons, et al" (a lifeguard?)
I work from my home.

Worst halftime show in Superbowl history.
Could not understand any words (I'm glad), just a bunch of jumping around and then a striptease. Gee, is this the absolute best CBS can do?
And each of those entertainers probably are so proud of themselves for their endeavor. What a shame that they think this elevates their standing.

I think it's a good thing that JimRob and the mods try to maintain a more family-friendly atmosphere here.
Drudge will put that photo on his site because it's going to get hits by people who want to see Janet Jackson's indecency. But that Drudge posts it for the benefit of his own site doesn't mean that it's got to be posted here.

This is a load of swamp water.
By law, I have to watch women flop a breast out to feed their gremlins at the next table and in that case the nipple isn't even covered. Hell, I had to do that as an elementary school student rehearsing a Christmas play. The bus driver was sitting there in the pews breast feeding like it was nothing. She was escorted out to another location but by then the cat was out of the bag and all that. And that was the 1980's.
This is terminally prudish non-sense. What do you expect at a Insipid Bowl half time show? If she wasn't Janet JACKSON few would give a damn.
