I skipped the half-time show. I was busy brewing a batch of beer, anyhow.

I guess I'm just old fashioned, but I'd rather watch a half-time show with military bands playing patriotic songs, and a few fireworks, than a bunch of atonal urban rubbish.

Concur. I'll start watching the Super Bowl again when they lose the helmets and play by Australian footy rules. Maybe.

Until then, there's always Rugby. Much more interesting!

Well, as much as a fan I am of old time football, as I recall fond memories of Dick Butkus vs. Ray Nitschke on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field, really, I think this game was well-played and exciting down to the final seconds. There is a lot about modern football I don't like, but not much of it was on display tonight.

The halftime "festivities," are another story all together.

I do like to watch Australian Rules, though...haven't seen that in a long time.
